SC Villa defender Bernard Muwanga has been ruled out for at least two months after suffering a fibula bone simple fracture while playing against JMC Hipposat Namboole stadium in an Azam Ugandan Premier League (AUPL) week 3 match Tuesday 6.

This came with just twenty minutes to play as he tried to defend a short on goal.

The former Bright Stars dependable defender after the match was taken to Kibuli hospital for a scan which revealed the results and later plastering of his left leg.

“I strongly believe that I will be back so soon to keep more clean sheets” he posted on his Facebook page.

Muwanga played a vital role in Uganda Cranes team that won last season’s CECAFA Senior Challange Cup in Ethiopia and was also a regular in the squad that represented Cranes in CHAN tournament earlier this year in Rwanda.

At soka25east.com, we wish Muwanga a quick recovery.
