Zesco United Football Club Chief Executive
Officer (CEO) Justin Mumba says the release of
Head Coach George Lwandamina has been
respected and welcomed by the Club. Mumba told the club’s official website.

Commenting on the decision by the Football
Association of Zambia (FAZ) to release
Lwandamina from the position of National Team
coach, Mumba said the club will respect the
decision and support the coach.

“The decision by FAZ is welcome and it will give
the coach enough time to concentrate on the
team, his contract is still valid and he is a full
time employee of Zesco so the separation means he will now concentrate on the team full time especially now that the team is in a crucial stage of the Champions League Competition,” He said.

Mumba told www.zescounitedfc.com that the
ambition is now to reach the finals of the
competition.

On monday this week, FAZ announced that they have relieved Lwandamina of his duties as
