Mbeya City 1-0 Mwadui
Mbeya City beat Mwadui 1-0 in a thrilling match played at the Sokoine stadium in the southern city of Mbeya. Central midfielder Ditram Mchimbi scored the lone goal in the 27th minute of the match .The loss forced Mwadui coach Jamhuri Kihwelo to resign.he has also said he will not engage in any football related activity.
In a match that started on a fast pace,the hosts dictated proceedings with Malawian Owen Chaima and Shaban Kado raiding the Mwadui defence several times .
In the 27th minute,John Kabanda and Kenny Ally played a one two before releasing a long ball to Ditram Mchimbi who did not hesistate unleashing a fierce shot towards the Mwadui goal for a 1-0 lead.
In the second Half,Malawian Kinna Phiri who is the head coach of Mbeya City introduced Hamidu Mohammed for Joseph Mahundi before withdrawing Omary Ramadhan for Salvatory Nkulula .

In another league match played at the Azam Sports complex in Chamazi,CECAFA defending champions Azam contined with their poor performance after battling to a 2-2 draw against in form Ruvu Shooting .A defensive lapse in the dying minutes gifted the visitors a draw,This is Azam’s third match in a row without a win after previously losing to Simba and Ndanda.
Fullyuzulu Maganga scored first for the visitors in the 9th minute of the match before Rwandese Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza equalized after receiving a through pass from Khamis Mcha who scored the second in the 70th minute.Former Azam player Shaban Kisiga scored a late goal to gift the visitors with a precious draw.Azam have 11 points after seven matches
