Kick-off 6:00PM EAT

Both teams will use this international build up to prepare them selves ahead of different upcoming tournaments and qualification matches. For Togo, head coach Claude Le Roy made it clear that this match officially begins his preparations for the upcoming Afcon 2017 that will take place in Gabon and for his counter part Micho, he is using it to fine tune his players ahead of the world cup qualification group match opener against Ghana this Friday at Tamale.

Claude Le Roy named a strong squad ahead of this match including club less inspirational skipper Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor. Other star players include Mathew Dossevi of Belgium giants Standard Liege and Floyd Ayite of Fulham in England among others.

Uganda cranes coach Micho also left Kampala having named a strong 19 man squad ahead of the two matches with goalkeeper Denis Onyango the only one who missed out the last light team training last evening at Kegeu stadium.

Both teams have met four times since 2014 with both winning twice. Togo won both legs in the 2014 Afcon qualifiers in which they ended cranes ten years home unbeaten record. In the 2016 world cup group qualifier match, Uganda revenged winning 1-0 in Lome thanks to a Miya Farouk 39th minute free kick and 3-0 at namboole thanks to a Miya Farouk brace and Captain Geoffrey Massa first half goals.

Key players.

Emmanuel Adebayor,(Togo)

the lanky striker will be looked at as hope of inspiration this evening, his leadership on the pitch will be vital for the home team and Ugandan defence that will be marshaled by Simba sports club Juuko Murushid has to be extra alert to tame the former Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Tottenham and Monaco striker. However Mathew Dossevi should also be looked at.

Miya Farouk,

Despite rare playing time at his Belgium club standard Liege, the sensational teenage striker has of late been the hope of the nation having scored the goal that ended the 39years Afcon jinx. Miya work rate, dribbles and hunger for goal will be a joy to watch this evening. Midfielder Geoffrey Kizito will also be of great value this evening fresh from winning the Vietnam cup with Than Quang Nigh. And to remind you, Kizito has commanded more playing time at his club amongst the Uganda cranes field professional players.

Predictions.

Togo 3-1 Uganda Cranes.
