The Gambia Football Federation has set up a selection players for Women’s National team ahead of the forth coming FIFA Live Your Goals Girls festival slated for the 21st to 23rd October 2016.

As part of the program of activities the selected team is expected to face off Cassa Sport in an international football friendly at the GFF Artificial turf in Jarra Soma.

The provisional squad has begun training at the GFF Technical Training Center in Yundum with final selection and its eventual planned international match marking the beginning of a new era for the Gambia National Women Team.

The FIFA Live Your Goals festival is meant to arouse the interest of girls and women to play football and to create a platform to display their skills and expose talents.

Gambia Football Federation (GFF) in a press release has indicated that the festival is expected to attract a thousand young girls who would received technical instructions from Live Your Goals Ambassadors with assistance from the GFF Technical Department.

GFF President Lamin Kabba Bajo and Executive members are expected to grace the occasion.
