The much awaited derby match between two teams in Toto Africans and newly promoted Mbao FC will take place tomorrow 11th October at the CCM Kirumba stadium in the lakeside City of Mwanza.
This is a much that the residents of Mwanza have been waiting for and it has finally come.
The match will be one of the highlights of round nine of the Tanzanian top tier league,the Vodacom league with other seven matches lined up on wednesday and thursday.
On wednesday Simba’s winning momentum will come to a real test when they travel to the Southern City of Mbeya to lock horns with Mbeya City at the Sokoine Stadium .
Mbeya City believe they have the best chance of ending Simba’s unbeaten run when they clash in that mouth-watering Premier League with Simba having won the last fixture there 1-0
In other matches,Young Africans will find themselves in unfamiliar territory when they face Mtibwa Sugar at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar.TFF,the Tanzanian football governing body allowed the defending champions to use Uhuru Stadium after the government imposed a ban on their home ground,The National Stadium.
At the Majimaji Stadium in Songea,Kagera Sugar will be the visitors as they meet hosts Majimaji while at the Mabatini Grounds,JKT Ruvu will play against visiting Tanzania Prisons from Mbeya.
Shinyanga residents will be treated to a weekday full of football activities as the two based teams will be in action tommorrow.Stand United will welcome ice creamers Azam at the Kambarage Stadium in Shinyanga while neighbours mwadui will be at their Mwadui Complex to confront African Lyon.
On Thursday,only one match will be played ,Ruvu Shooting will welcome Ndanda FC from Mtwara at the Mabatini grounds in Mlandizi.
