National Super League (NSL) outfit Agro Chemical Football Club will on Thursday, October 20, 2016 hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM), where new office holders will be elected.

A notice of the same was issued today for paid up members in a circular published on Wednesday 12.

The Muhoroni based club draw its membership from employees of Agro Chemical and Food Company Limited who pay monthly subscription fee to maintain their status.

Chairman Mr. Joseph Andere, who is also Football Kenya Federation (FKF) National Executive Council (NEC) member, is expected to relinquish his position.

Officials of the federation are not expected to hold positions in football clubs.

Agro were demoted from the Kenyan Premier League in 2009 after four years in the topflight.

Efforts to regain promotion have been fruitless – coming close a couple of times.

The team is going through a rough patch after a hopeful start to the 2016 season, and are currently 7th on the table standings with 40 points after 28 rounds of matches.
