Bashiru hayford,the man who led the Ashanti Gold to their first ever league title in almost two decades is reportedly heading to troubled Kenyan Premier league giants AFC leopards.
According to Ghanasoccernet,Bashiru is among those who have applied for the position to coach the multiple Kenyan league champions
“I have a friend who called me from there [Kenya] and told me they are looking for a coach,” Hayford is quoted by Footy-Ghana.com
The coach who still has a contract with Ashanti Gold said he is open to offers and can still join the club when offered that opportunity
Also in line for the leopards job is another former Asante Kotoko coach David Dancun
