Mufulira Wanderers should stop celebrating ……the relegation fight still on!!!

There is seem to be a sigh of relief in Mufulira after the abandoned game against Power Dynamos in Kitwe over the weekend. Even before FAZ disciplinary committee sits to reveal the cases of the last weekend, the fans mostly from Mufulira Wanderers are sure this will go for them and gain the three93) points and three (3) goals from the abandoned game.

If the verdict goes according to these feelings of the fans, then Mufulira Wanderers will be on 32 and the only bad news for them is that they also fall on the same situation with Green Eagles who will also get the three points and the Choma outfit may then get to 34 points.

So practically if you look and analyze the table, the situation is still the same and Mufulira Wanderers will still be in serious relegation fight and the only advantage is that they would have brought in Nchanga Rangers, Nakambala Leopards and Lumwana in a serious relegation battle.

So the best for Mufulira Wanderers and Green Eagles is to stop celebrating the abandoned games and concentrate on fighting relegation battels because the three points and three goals may not even be enough should they become relaxed and think all is well of a sudden.

WEEK 30

Mufulira Wanderers host Lumwana Radiants in week 31 while Green Eagles will be at home to Lusaka Tigers. Nchanga Rangers who also have a game in hand against ZESCO United will be negotiating a home fixture against Nkwazi.

Nakambala are no longer safe after the defeat against Nkana will also be away to Power Dynamos in another tense fixture that may see the Mazabuka outfit a point away from relegation should their competitors win their games.

It’s pretty tight
