Kenya U20 side will play South Africa in a build-up match in Nairobi on Saturday, November 26,2016, Football Kenya Federation Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Robert Muthomi has confirmed.

The Harambee Stars juniors are part of FKF special projects aimed at Qatar 2022 World Cup qualification, and the friendlies are meant to prepare them for the future.

South Africa on the other hand will be using the warm-up to prepare for the forthcoming U20 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Zambia from 26 February – 12 March 2017.

The senior national team (Harambee Stars), will also be busy in the month, playing two friendlies against Liberia and Togo, same to the Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWACON) bound senior women national team the Starlets, who travel to Cameroon on Tuesday, November 6 for their last friendly before heading back to the central African nation for the continental showpiece.

AWCON kick-off on 19th November – 3rd December, 2016 in Cameroon.
