Nkwazi Football Club has managed to build a great football unit that has managed to even inflicted pain on many traditional big teams. Coach Albert Mpande’s team yesterday managed to make it 2 wins out of two within a space of 4 days.

The team has been making headlines this season, From Steward Chikandiwa’s 7 goal lead early on in the season to Justin Shonga’s 4 goals against Kabwe Warriors ,its been fairy-tales all over Edwin Emboela.

A new fairy-tale has just arrived at Emboela Stadium with Former Konkola Blades Midfielder Mwila Kabwe enjoying the best form of his life having scored 3 times in his last 3 games [ his best ever goal scoring run in the ZSL] taking his tally to 4 goals.

Kabwe has previous featured for Nkana and Konkola Blades. He came up to the Super League with Nkana in 2010. He was the main midfielder but couldn’t cope with the super league so, In 2013 he began seeing less game time after the arrival of Kelvin Mubanga [now with Power Dynamos]. He then left last year for Blades and eventually joined his current club Nkwazi football Club.

The Funny part is that he hard not registered a goal until week 20, when he scored 90th minute strike in the 2 all draw way in Nakambala. He then again experienced a dry spell until the last three games where he has been able to find the back of the net in 3 consecutive games.

Nkwazi are 7th on the log and if he can continue his red hot scoring form then a top 5 finish is not out of sight for the 2015 Barclays Cup losing finalists.
