Tusker FC youth team will be holding trials for their Under 20 team starting from Thursday 3rd November upto Saturday 5th November 2016, with a probability of a friendly match on the same weekend.
In a media release signed by the team manager Calvin Odhiambo, the club revealed that players selection will be conducted at Ruaraka Sports Club by Tusker Youth team coaches in a process that will be stricly monitored to avoid age cheating and any other malpractises.
Players willing to attend are requested to carry with them original birth certificates and photocopy,their indentification cards and if in school,a document providing the same.
The club added that those outside Nairobi are requested to find friends or relatives who can accomodate them since the team will not cater for it.
Tusker U-20 team was started in year 2012 with an aim of indentfying players with excellent football skills and assisting them in achieving their football ambition while also empowering them with academic enrichment.
The outfit main task is to produce quality players for the Tusker senior team and also various clubs in the country.
The youth team has been actively participating in year round Abaderes Branch FKF Regional League and new recruited team will act as reinforcement of other players to play in Kenya Premier League U-20 at a date to be announced.
A large number of hopeful youngsters from allover the country are expected to turn up in order to be assessed by the various Tusker youth coaches with a view to introducing them to their set-up.
