By Ronnie Lusurile,

Ugandan coach Haruna Mawa has been named the new head coach of Somalia national team.

This follows disagreements between the Somalia Football Federation and another Ugandan coach Mathias Lule who was initially handed the job.

Mawa formerly of Sports Club Victoria University, will fly out Saturday, October 5 evening, via Rwandan Air, and is expected to arrive in Mogadishu on Sunday for official unveiling, along side goalkeeper trainer Moses Oloya who is also a Ugandan.

Mawa’s ability to groom young talents is the main reason Somalia considered him for the role. He will be head coach of all Somalia national teams.
