Football Association of Zambia has unanimously agreed to support its former President, Kalusha Bwalya nomination for the FIFA Council next year.
The decision was reached this morning in an executive meeting that was held at Football House in Lusaka.
Bwalya shown interest in contesting for an executive committee member position in the FIFA Council but the FAZ was dragging its feet to write him a nomination letter.
The football governing body demanded to have COSAFA decide on who to support during the FIFA Council elections next year.
In sign of solidarity of Kalu candidacy,FAZ has invited thriteen football presidents from COSAFA region to visit Zambia to aid Kalu campaign.
Further Football Association of Zambia will send formal request to Goverment to join in lobbying of Kalusha candidacy.
