Muhoroni Youth FC has sacked five players in what the club management termed as the ‘players lack of commitment and poor performance.’
Among the casualties are Ugandan Andrew Sekayombya and Democratic Republic of Congo’s Bebeto Lwamba.
Other players who have been shown the door include Francis Ocholla, Kevin Otieno and Calvin Omanga.
Club CEO James Orundu said that the affected players had shown little commitment to the club.
Speaking to a section of local press Orondu specified that the sacked players performance was quite wanting as they never played with any purpose and one could read from their performance they had a hidden agenda.
Muhoroni , who currently lie sixth in the Kenyan Premier League standings with 42 points, lost their last match 2-0 to Gor Mahia at Moi Stadium,Kisumu yesterday.
