Uganda Cranes coach Micho Sredejovic has dropped five more players ahead of the team’s 2018 World Cup qualifier clash with Congo Brazzaville.
FC Illve’s striker Yunus Sentamu and lanky midfielder Sadam Juma are the major casualties from Micho’s lean squad that will confront Congo Brazzaville in on November 12 in Kampala .
The team resumes training this evening to continue with preparations.
Should Cranes beat Congo Brazzaville they will be in a good position before meeting Egypt who are likely to be tough opponents at home aganist Ghana.
Besides the Sentamu and Juma, others that have been axed are SC Villa talisman Vitalis Tabu,Derrick Nsibambi and Joseph Nsubuga.
They join earlier released eight players Denis Okot Oola, URA defender Richard Kassaga Jjuuko, Vipers’ trio of Halid Lwaliwa, Keziron Kizito, Erisa Ssekisambu, SC Villa’s Godfrey Lwesibawa, Soana’s Allan Kayiwa and URA midfielder Shafik Kagimu.
All the players released were all off- colour during the training sessions and were not included in yesterday friendly aganist Zambia where Cranes lost 1-0 to the visitors.
