Former Uganda Cranes right back Simeon Masaba has backed Vipers SC skipper Nicholas Wadada ahead of Denis Iguma in the right back position of the national team.

“Iguma is good but Wadada is better,” Masaba said during lunch time sports show on WBS TV.

Masaba retired from international football in 2013 and was replaced by Denis Iguma, but believes Wadada is more of a natural right back with the ability to deliver more, adding that Iguma is more of a central defender and midfielder.

Wadada who is being backed came into limelight in Uganda Cranes historic win against Comoros on 4th September -putting up a man of the match performance in the high pressure match, and has since been a force to reckon I’m the position.
