Speaking to a top radio talk show in Nairobi the Djurgadens play maker said he is focused to help his club Djurgadens and will improve next season
He was put to task to by the co-hosts Joseph Ogidi and Jacob Ghost Mulee the latter being his mentor and agent to clear the air over media reoports of his move to Real Betis or Club Brugge
Olunga was categorical that he is still with Djurgadens and if any good offers come then its the management that will decide because currently their club have few options on attack
On betting he said the vice is illegal and that he cant engage in such illegal acts
” As players, betting is illegal and if found there are severe consequences to that, Today if i say i will get a red card and they know very well that i haven’t got any red card and in a match an Olunga red is put at odd 30 and in that day i predict a red for me thereafter in the match i elbow someone and get a red ,then that is match fixing” he said he cant involve in into such ideologies
Olunga said he has scored 12 goals in 12 games and was top in his club followed by his partner at 6 goals and thats what keeps him going
“Right now i am here for holiday and God willing I may try my lack in Club Brugge or Real Betis who have shown interest in me . If i was to go to England i would play for Arsenal because they have one of the best creative midfield in the PL and i would score many goals with such settings .
Olunga went on further to say “I would like to congratulate Tusker for winning a double and this shows that there is a lot of competition in the league and now that monopoly is now there,also congratulations to Muhoroni for winning the league,its not easy for a mid table team to win the league , I f you see teams like Zesco and they has a good season not that they have good players but its management ,i am asking you tusker to represent us well ”
