Mbao FC of Mwanza will begin the second leg of the Tanzanian vodacom league with a sponsor to help the community club run its affairs
Hawaii Product supplies will pump in a total of Tsh 150 million approximately $ 75,000 for six months.
Speaking after announcing the agreement, the company’s marketing manager Elisalia Ndeta said they were impressed at the leadership at the club and their determination to remain in the league.
Mbao FC chairman Solly Zephania Njashi welcomed the move and thanked the company saying it will be a moral boost for the team in the second leg
“We are happy, it’s a welcoming move and I can say we are lucky as they are very many teams that needed sponsors but we were chosen ” Solly said
Mbao FC are at the 12 to position in the league standings with 16 points and really need to strengthen the defence where they conceded 20 goals.
