The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has sounded warning to clubs that will be participating in the upcoming Sportpesa Premier League season to comply with club licensing process.
In his speech during the SportPesa Player of the Year Awards, the federation president Nick Mwendwa,reminded the clubs that the main objective of the process is to enable the professionalization of football clubs in the Kenya.
“We take this opportunity to again remind the clubs that they have until Friday this week to adhere to the laid rules and regulations .This is in accordance to our motive of streamlining the game in our country” he said.
“Any team that will not have adhered to that will not particpate in the next year premier league”,he said.
Clubs participating in next year’s premiership have until December 16, 2016 to comply, failure to which they risk forfeiting their slot in the league.
