Western Stima midfielder Kenneth Muguna has been crowned the 2016 Kenyan Premier League most valuable player warding off stiff competition from Eric Ouma of Gor Mahia and Humphrey Mieno Of Tusker FC.
Muguna who also walked home with the midfielder of the year accolade was awarded a total of Kshs 1.5 million and a flat screen “LG” television for his troubles.
Paul Nkata of Tusker FC as was expected won the Coach of the year award piping Gor Mahia’s Ze Maria and Chemelil Sugar’s Francis Baraza who came third.
Gor Mahia’s sensational wing back Eric “Marcelo” Ouma deservedly won the new player of the year gong.
