Jackson Saleh has returned to his parent club Gor Mahia after completion of his 6-month loan deal at AFC Leopards.

Saleh, a former Kenyan international defender is among five players dropped by the new Leopards coach Stawart Hall, who is building his team for next season.

Malian Moussa Sissoko, Bernard Ongoma who has joined the military, Edwin Wafula who has terminated his contract and goalkeeper Lucas Indeche, whose contract also expired are the other players who have left the den.

Saleh penned a three-year-deal with Gor Mahia from then cash strapped arch rivals AFC Leopards January this year, but returned back mid-season in search of play, as he could not break coach Ze Maria’s preferred Musa Mohammed/Harun Shakava partnership at the heart of “K’Ogalo’s” defense – rendering him a bench warmer.

It is not clear whether he is in the plans of the Brazilian manager for 2017 season or he will be loaned out again or sold altogether.

“Saleh is our player and so he will return to Gor. But if Ze Maria does not have him in his future plans then we will sit and agree on how to go about it even if it means seeking further loan deal for him,” Ronald Ngala, Assistant Secretary General told Soka25east.com.

Ze Maria left behind his transfer targets, before he travelled for the holidays, which includes dropping six players and signing equal number.
