Uganda national football team, the Cranes, will don a modified current ‘Errea’ jersey during 2017 AFCON Finals.
Although the jersey is almost similar to what Uganda Cranes used during 2017 campaign, the jersey quality has improved as well as the design of the traditional home kit-red top with black socks.
FUFA communications manager Ahmed Hussein confirmed that the modified jersey have been submitted to CAF as official jersey.
“The modifications are a completion of the job on the current jersey that went on market in 2014. The modified jersey will be used at the 2017 AFCON Finals” said Hussein.
“This will always remain a historic jersey with good designs that the Uganda Cranes used when they qualified for the continental soccer show piece after 39 years of waiting,”added Hussein.
The red top with black shorts kit has a yellow and white stripes collar with the Errea logo on the right chest area with the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) badge on the left featuring body fit technology.
However the federation did not reveal if the new kit designed is part of Errea’s responsibilities in accordance with a secret deal they signed with the FUFA.
