Football Kenya Federation(FKF) President Sam Nyamweya has been named in the list of shame released last week by Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta during his state address in Parliament.
The incumbent who was elected to the seat in 2011 has been listed by the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission(EACC) accused of embezzlement of funds at the federation in 2013.
On releasing the damning document President Uhuru Kenyatta issued an executive order asking the named people to step aside as investigations progresses.
Nyamweya was recently in the headlines after the federation was embroiled in a tussle with Kenyan Premier League that ended up in court after FKF got a court order instructing Kpl to with to stop their league for over one month.
