Multin ‘Micho’s squad for the upcoming 2017 Africa Cup of Nations began to take shape as he dropped nine players including former Saigon Xuan Thanh playmaker Saddam Juma, currently with Express FC.
The Cranes camp took Christmas break yesterday with the Serbian coach also releasing Onduparaka FC defender Toha Rashid, Joseph Nsubuga, Halid Lwaliwa, Richard Jjuuko,Keziron Kizito,Paul Mucureezi,Martin Kiiza and Erisa Ssekisambu.
A total of 26 players will resume camp on Monday ahead of Tunisia and Dubai training camps as the team prepares for Afcon 2016 in Gabon.
