Jean Baptist Mugiraneza has completed a move to Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia by penning a two-year-deal.

Mugiraneza, a holding midfielder was a free agent after being released by Azam FC of Tanzania 8-months to completion of his contract.

The Rwandan international fell out with the Chamazi moneybags and is demanding full compensation from the former employers.

He is expected to slot in the big shoes left behind by Ugandan Khalid Aucho who left the 15-times champions mid-season for greener pastures in South Africa with Baroka FC.

To beat the KPL foreign-player-quota (5), K’Ogalo are expected not to renew Abuba Sibomana’s contract. The wing back is rumored to be heading back to Rayon Sports in the Rwandan league.

Mugiraneza previously played for Kiyovu SC and APR at home, before crossing over to Tanzania with Azam where he won the 2015 CECAFA Kagame Cup – beating Gor Mahia 2-0 in the final.
