Uganda Premier League (UPL) giants Express Football Club have released ten players from its ranks.
Red Eagles’s fortunes dwildled winning only four matches in fifteen outings before the league break and Coach Martin Lule is expected to bolster the squad in January in bid to challenge for the 2016/217 Azam Premier League title.
Sources close to the club coaching unit indicated that the club have decided to axe ten players from the squad to create room for new signings with trials already put into place.
Among those leaving the club are two goalkeepers Ali Kiggundu and Ivan Mutumba.Muhammad Kayongo who hasn’t made any appearance for the club since the beginning of the season is also among the axed players.
Others include Bob Kasozi,Richard Kigozi, Rogers Lukwiya,Yafesi Mubiru, Isaac Sserunkuma,John Ssemanzi and Paddy Tebusweke.
