Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojovic this afternoon named his travelling squad to Tunisia and Dubai ahead of build up games against Tunisia next week on Wednesday, Slovakia on 8th January and Ivory Coast on 11th January.

A team of 23 including nine local based players will leave Entebbe airport this evening with three others expected to connect direct flight to Tunisia.

Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper is amongst the squad leaving Kampala but will not get involved in the build up games and instead a special fitness programme has been designated for him.

However, the biggest surprise has been the omission of Swedish based lanky defender Ronald Mukiibi who is amongst the four players put on standby.

The Cranes will kick off their AFCON campaign on 14th January against the Black Stars of Ghana in group D.

The full travelling squad from Kampala showing players who will connect direct to Tunisia and those put on the standby mode.
