Kenya’s representatives in the CAF Confederations Cup Ulinzi Stars has named a 26 – man squad that will represent the team and the nation in the tournament.
The Gotv cup runners-up will take to the pitch in first round of the tournament which is slated for the weekend of February 10 before traveling to Libya for the return leg after two weeks.
The club has included all their new signing Baron Oketch in the squad that will do duty for the club starting mid February almost immediately after the start of the KPL season.
Also making into the final squad is Evans Awoka and skipper Stephen Ocholla who both misss last season owing to military duties.Depedable Left back Rodgers Omondi also returns after missing out in prevupious season.
This now sets them ready to take on their opponents in the continental event. They will kick off their campaign at home against Libyan side Hilal Benghazi.
