Former AFC Leopards coach Zdravko Lugarusic has joined Ghana football giant Asante Kotoko as the new head coach on a two years deal.
According to a statement released by his new club portal, the contract contains among others,motivational packages and an option for renewal in the third year, if he leads the Porcupines to a league title.
In an interview with the portal the club president, Dr Kwame Ayei called for total support of the new Croation coach who is not new to Ghana working conditions having previously coached Premier League side King Faisal and AshGold between 2009 and 2011 seasons.
The 52 year old was previously linked with Zesco United which is in search of a coach after George Lwandamina exit.
The Porcupines have been under the guidance of caretaker coach Michael Osei with the management still indicating that they will seek more ways to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
