With just hours to go before Zimbabwe play their Africa Cup of Nations Group B opener aganist Algeria, Zimbabwe Football Federation has confirmed that the Warriors will be using alternative kit.

According to the federation spokesperson Xoxisani Gwesela the kit was to be delivered by the  Singapore manufacturer few days ago but the kit sponsor experience challenges in delivering the kit on time.

“The kit was supposed to have been delivered a few days ago, but Mafro Sports faced logistical challenges in transporting it to Libreville in time for today’s match,” he said.

ZIFA wrote to the competitions organizing committe yesterday for them to be allowed to use an alternative kit which CAF has already been approved.

Mafro Sports has already provided the national team with training kit which is being used by the Warriors in Gabon together with the alternative one.
