Cameroonian striker Doumbe Songue has revealed it will be a dream come true if he is able to secure a deal to play for Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards in the near future.
The 20-year old is currently with Botafogo FC in the Cameroon first tier league with the option of moving to Coton Sport in the upcoming season. Doumbe who has seen a smooth transition in his career says his dream is to one day make the move to Ingwe a team which he admires most.
“It has always been my dream to play in Kenya, I am a AFC Leopards fan,” he said.
“I don’t really love any team like AFC Leopards and I will like to play for them. I like everything about the club, playing for them will be one of my biggest achievement.
“But I will also grab an opportunity to play for any of the big clubs in Kenya.”
Doumbe started his football at Ecole Football les Bassaries Football Academy,before joining Horoya AC in Guinea Premier League.
He then moved to Tunisia where he had a short stint with Stade Tunisien before moving to back to his country Cameroon where he joined Botafogo FC during 2015/2016 season.
