Uganda Cranes inspirational midfielder Farouk Miya has has joined Royal Excel Mouscron on a season loan in search for playing time, his mother club Standard Liege confirmed on their official Facebook page.

” Our young Ugandan attacking midfielder Farouk Miya will be loaned to Royal Excel Mouscron till the end of the season without a buy-out clause

We wish Farouk good luck and we hope that he’ll come back stronger”.

Mouscron are currently at the bottom of the Belgium Pro league with 18 points from 24 matches and they believe the arrival of the former Vipers SC player will boost their survival for relegation hopes.

They are located in the town of Mouscron in the western Province of Hainaut.
