Zambia U20 National team on Tuesday beat Tenerife U20 by a lone goal in their first match in spain. Substitute Mwape Mumba scored the only goal of the game after some good work by Enock Computer Mwepu.
Coach Beston Chambeshi expressed happiness with the boys display but was quick to point out the need for improvement concerning the teams convention rate.
“The game was fine and we are happy with the way the boys played the game, Especially in the attacking phase. We created alot of chances, we could have scored more goals but the finishing was not okay”- Chambeshi said
“The opposition was not an easy team. They gave us a good run and we are happy with the way the opposition played. We have got no injuries and even the players who came on today played well as they changed the game, Which is a sign we are building a good team”- Chambeshi added.
