Uganda Cranes number one custodian Denis Masinde has ended all rumours that have been going on concerning his future by extending his stay at Mamelodi Sundowns for four years.
The 2016 African player of the year based in Africa made the extension this week and hopes to achieve more glory with the side he believes has made him what he is today.
“I have been with a lot of offers in Europe and Asia but Sundowns was my first priority. They have made me what I am currently and that is why Iconsidered them first. I am happy here and looking forward to achieving more glory this year,” he said.
Mamelodi Sundowns offered Onyango a full time job opportunity after his retirement from active football a major reason that is believed to be the major reason for his contract extension.
Onyango who is still on a holiday in Uganda put up an unforgettable performances in 2016 winning the CAF champions league, PSL, Telekom Knock out cup, among others as well as a number of personal accolades like African Player of the year based in Africa becoming the first goalkeeper in history to achieve the milestone.
