Ethiopia have appointed former Adama City FC coach Ashenafi Bekele as the new man in charge of their national team.
Bekele replaces Gebremedhin Haile, who was dismissed last year after falling out with the Ethiopia Football Federation (EFF).
His first game in charge will be a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier away to Sierra Leone in June this year.
Ethiopia are drawn in qualifying Group F alongside their East African neighbour Kenya,Sierra Leone and Ghana.
However, most of the football administrators have faulted the appointment with most having preffered Hawassa City coach Wubetu Abate and Zemariam Woldegiorgis of Fasil Kenema.
“For us, we believe the proccess of his appointment was not free and fair.We call for the goverment dissolve the entire federation.
“We need a total overhaul in the football association,” said one of EFF administrators who did not want to be named.
