After a three months break off to allow the nation carry out Presidential elections, the Somalian Premier league will on Monday 13th. February return with two fixtures on board.

Defending champions Banadir Sports Club will visit Heegan FC while Jenyo FC entertains Dekedda FC .

Banadir SC that is coached by former Uganda Cranes player Hussein Mbalangu currently lead the table with six points from two matches followed by Jenyo FC, Heegan FC and Dekedda FC all tied on four points.

The league keeps on growing every now and then and has started attracting a number of Ugandan players and coaches for example Robert Mayanja who is current head coach of Elman FC.

Players include goalkeeper Sulait Luyima, Nyanzi Ronald, Ssebuliba Abdul and Godfrey Sembatya all featuring for Elman FC and Imam Kafunayo who turns out for Banadi SC.
