Christopher Bongoole is one of the most talented coach at Uganda youth level and has really contributed a lot to Ugandan football although most people don’t know him.
Bongoole is the man who discovered the talent of now prominent football players Ivan Bukenya (Kingfisher East Bengal in India), Savio Kabugo(Proline FC), Andrew Buteera(APR in Rwanda) Jackson Nunda(KCCA FC), Lukooya Baker(Soana FC) The talented Wasswa and Kato currently at Proline FC, among others at Kamwokya Football Academy.
He is currently the head coach of Hormsdalen Primary school located in Gayaza and believes he still has a lot of talent to produce for the nation.
“Hormsdalen Primary School looked for me and I couldn’t turn down the offer. I am going to do all what it takes to produce another breed of football talent for the nation like I have done before. I have a crop of very talented young boys under 8 and 10 and I strongly believe with them you will in the near future see the next Savio’s Bukenya, Buteera, etc” he said in an exclusive interview with Soka25east.com
Bongoole singled out 9year old Bemba Isaac, Mugisha, defender Walugembe Lawrence and midfielder Kassaga Edrick who he promised if they go by the current level they will dominate World Football.
The born again coach finally encouraged parents to support their children right from childhood with football materials.
