FIFA President Mr Gianni Infantino will pay a one-day visit to Nouakchott on Tuesday 28 February 2019.
According to a statement released by the football body on Wednesday, the football boss will visit the Mauritania Federation offices during his one day stay in the North African country.
Infantino visit, is the first in the country since his election as head of FIFA on 26 February 2016 and has now honoured an invitation sent to him by the President of the Mauritanian Football Federation, Mr Ahmed Yahya .
“I am delighted to meet the members of the Mauritanian football community on this visit, to be able to share my vision of football with them and to present them with development programs.
“This will help to strengthen and intensify the development of the sport and the promotion of its values in your country, “said the FIFA President in the statement sent to the FFRIM.
