Kenya representatives in CAF Confederations Cup,Ulinzi Stars FC will meet Smouha of Egypt in the first round of the competition after beating Al Hilal Benghazi of Libya 5-4 on post match penalties.
Both teams had tied 1-1 on aggregate at the the end of the two legs and the match referee had to send the match on penalties after the normal time.
Samuel Onyango scored the important goal in 18th minute with a powerful strike past Murad Alwuheeshi at Banhgazi goal after connecting a pass from John Makwatta.
In the second stanza Benghazi came back strong for an equalizer with Mustafa Hamza proving to be a thorn on army men defence.His 54th minute shot could have counted for a goal but Saruni well counted dive saved the day.
Ulinzi should have added a goal with Mark Makwatta late surge that saw his effort saw Alwuheeshi beaten at goal but his defense was at hand to bail him out with a goal clearance.
With four minutes of added time,Muad Alamani could have won it for visitors but his delivery went inches wide sending the match into penalties with Ulinzi emerging victorious, winning the game 5-4.
