Its 0800 hours here in Zambia and what you notice just outside the Heroes stadium is a long line of fans preparing to enter the stadium .
Fans have started making in roads to the National Heroes stadium with close to 300 already lining at the main gate leading to the stadium
Zambia U20 are scheduled to take on Mali in their second match with a win sending them to within victory to historic World Cup U20 later to be played in Korea
They beat Guinea 1-0 in their opening match while Mali drew Egypt in another match
Most fans are confident their team will win the tournament and qualification to the World Cup is a must
“I know our coach is building a team for future tournaments ,if you see some of the players in the squad ,they don’t play for big clubs .We will qualify for the World Cup and maybe next time qualify for the 2022 world cup with the same squad ” A fan named Chanda told Soka25east at the entrance to the stadium
Its important to note how the Zambian government are rallying their citizens to attend in large numbers the AFCON U20 matches where Zambia is involved.
