Tanzania Vodacom league leaders Simba SC  were yesterday lucky to escape with a draw at the  National Stadium in Dar es Salaam where they were held to a 2-2 mdraw by visiting Mbeya City

 

Shiza Kichuya was the hero once again netting an injury time equalizer after what seemed to be a Mbeya City straight victory

Mbeya City took the lead  in the 37th minute through Ditram Nchimbi fierce shot  a goal that stood until the breather

On resumption ,the men from Msimbazi came a rejuvenated side and on the 65th minute,Ibrahim Ajib equalized after his free kick went straight to goal for a 1-1 scoreline

But as the Simba fans were celebrating the equalizer ,Mbeya City produced another killer punch when Ditram Nchimbi provided a pass to Kenny Ally who did not hesitate but sent far past Simba Keeper  Ghanian Daniel Adjei

Simba fought hard to get the equalizer and they were lucky to get the deserved  point at home after Shiza Kichuya converted from the spot after Mbeya City’s Tumba Lui brought down Mohammed Hussein

 

The draw leaves Simba just three points ahead of yanga who takes on Mtibwa Sugar today with a win propelling Young Africans to the top of the Vodacom League
