Harambee Stars defender Eric Ouma made his debut for Kolkheti Poti in their Georgian National League clash with Dinamo Tbilisi at the Dinamo Arena on Sunday.
In the match, Kolkheti goalkeeper gifted the home side with the lone goal on the 26th minute when he failed to hold an easy ball that came from a cross from the left.
Later, in the 36 minute, Kholkehti nearly found way back into the match, when Senegalese winger Bubakar Daffer had the goalmouth at his mercy but failed to tap in a cross from the left.
Ouma started in the match and played to ring of fulltime in his classy debut, which saw him contribute manfully on the defensive end by pressing and tackling vigorously, Ouma certainly reinforced the point why he’s such a perfect fit for his his coach’s dynamic, high octane system.
The challenge ahead now for Ouma, after such a promising start to life at Georgia, is to keep up his incredibly high level. Playing under the expert tutelage of Sanaia and within a philosophy that suits him brilliantly, will certainly give him every chance to do so.
