Former AFC Leopards coach Luc Eymael has been appointed as the Bloemfontein Celtic head coach with immediate effect, hours after resigning from same position at another PSL side Polokwane City.
In an interview with Celtic’s portal the Belgian stated that he was happy to join the team that has massive support.
“I’m happy to join the team of such incredible stature with massive support. When I first arrived in the country, I somehow had a soft spot for the team purely because of the passion and dedication displayed by the supporters and trust me, I share the same thirst to win.
“My philosophy is simple, to play good football with appropriate tactical discipline. I have watched the team before and have seen some exceptionally good players that just need guidance and encouragement to start winning again,”said Eymael.
Eymael quit City yesterday evening after alleged private reasons and he will tasked to guide a side that is in 13th position on the topflight table with 18 points from 19 games which translates to one point per game.
