Kenyan internationals Eric “Marcelo” Ouma, Erick Johanna and Ayub Timbe have pulled out of two friendlies against Uganda and DR Congo respectively.

The trio have excused themselves from the warm-ups to concentrate on club duty.

Speedy winger Paul Were has been called up to camp in light of the aforementioned.

“Erick Ouma, Ayub Timbe and Erick Johanna have all requested that they be given time to settle in their new clubs,” the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) clarified.

Marcelo, a full back, recently joined Georgia’s FC Kolkheti from Gor Mahia, while Erick Johanna, formerly of Mathere United is unattached and has been hunting for greener pastures in Europe.

Ayub Timbe on the other hand recently joined striker Michael Olunga in China from Lierse SK in Belgium.
