Tusker FC is rumored to be in hot persuit of highly talented Muhoroni Youth first choice keeper Ugandan Allan Owiny, Soka25east.comcan report.

The twenty five years old shot stopper who was signed from Ugandan giants URA FC at a fee of about 4,000 US dollars mid last season is running out of contract at the millers but he has refused to extend it.

Since joining the coach Francis Baraza side, Allan Owiny has asserted his authority as first choice keeper relegating Daniel Kiptoo to the bench. However, the 2015 season has so far been low key for him as the player is said to be unsettled.

The brewers are looking for stability and experience in goal after they lost Boniface Oluoch to Gor Mahia and Duncan Ochieng to injury.

The current Tusker keeper Faruk Shikalo is young and immensely talented but his lack of experience has been blamed for some of the erratic displays from him. Faruk has conceded 15 times in 13 matches.

Kenya Premier League June transfer window is opening in two weeks time and Owiny is expected at Ruaraka soon if the deal goes through.
