Kenyan Premier League side Sofapaka will finally unveil Betika as their sponsors on Friday.
This was confirmed by the the club president Elly Kalekwa who releaved the deal has already been made and both parties are expecting to launch it this afternoon.
“We have been in talks for months now and finally we have reached a deal with Betika for a period of three years. The club will now be in good financial health and our players and technical bench can now fully focus on achieving results on the pitch,” said Kalekwa,in an interview with the Star
Sofapaka has not had asponsor since the expiry of one by a leading cement firm in 2015.
“All that is behind us and now we have a sponsor and our players can now rest easy. It has been a difficult few years but we have gotten by the grace of God and now we are getting his blessings,” remarked Kalekwa.
The 2009 champion produced a stunning results to survive relegation before they faced the battle on club registration issues.
