Flames caretaker coach Gerald Phiri has called up three new players to the national team squad that is preparing for the oncoming international friendly aganist Kenya set to be played on 18th April in Kenyatta Stadium,Machakos.
According to the Football Association of Malawi,the three players are unattached former South Africa-based forward Robin Ngalande and Kamuzu Barracks duo of Pempho Kansichili and Manase Chiyesa.
Chiyesa has replaced injured Be Forward Wanderers striker Peter Wadabwa who was already injured when he joined camp and he only aggravated it.
For Ngalande he will be making a return to the Flames after over a year during which he has not played competitive football at club level.
The Flames will be using the match as part of preparations for 2018 CHAN qualifiers where they will face Madagascar away in Antananarivo on April 23 in the first leg while the return leg is slated for April 29 at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
