Kenya’s Harambee Stars skipper and Southampton FC midfielder Victor Mugubi Wanyama has come to the aid of cash strapped Kenyan Premier League side AFC Leopards.
The player made a personal donation totaling 700,000 Kenya shillings about 7,142 US dollars with 500,000 and 200,000 shillings going to players and technical bench respectively.
Leopards assistant Secretary General Asava Kadima confirmed the same, “It is true Wanyama has made a donation to the club. We are very grateful to him.”
