Kataka FC skipper Peter Lusimbula is optimistic his side can surprise giants KCCA FC when they meet this evening in the Uganda cup round of 16 in Mbale district.
The former national u17 trainee believes they have worked hard previously and are just waiting for kick off time to play the match he anticipates to be his best so far in his career.
“We have trained well previously playing a lot of friendly matches. I believe we can surprise KCCA FC in Mbale like Paidha Black Angles did to Vipers SC. It’s a very big match to me and the entire team, probably my best so far in my career. KCCA FC is a big team that we respect but today it’s a different case” he said in an exclusive interview with Soka25east.com.
The Mbale based side coached by Nimrod Kintu is fighting for relegation in the FUFA Big League with three games to play.
Their opponents KCCA FC traveled to Mbale district on Monday evening to prepare in time for the match they believe is equally important as their CAF Confederations opponents Al-Masry despite the opposition.
